No. Keep the roadside coverage you already have. StrandedSafe helps make sure you can actually access the right information and know what to do when something goes wrong.
Does it work without internet or cell service?
Yes. Once your information is saved, it stays on the phone and is available in Roadside Mode even with no connection.
Who is it built for?
Parents with teen drivers, new drivers and college students — but it's useful for any driver who wants a roadside plan ready before they need it.
What does it cost?
Individual is $19/year. Family is $29/year — less than $2.50 a month for multiple drivers and household vehicles.
What information should I add?
Drivers, vehicles, insurance details, your primary and backup roadside providers, two emergency contacts, a preferred tow destination, and any custom instructions.
How do I put it on my phone's home screen?
Open My Information inside your account. It walks you through the exact steps for iPhone or Android and confirms once it's installed.
How often should I update my information?
We remind you every six months to confirm everything is still current.
