StrandedSafe is a roadside preparedness tool. We collect as little as we can and keep your emergency details where they're most useful — on your device.
What we store on our servers
Your account email, your membership and payment status from our payment processor, and a small readiness summary (how many drivers and vehicles you have saved, whether setup is complete, whether offline access is ready, and when you last confirmed your information). Sensitive values such as policy numbers, VINs and phone numbers are only ever kept in a masked form.
What stays on your device
Your full roadside plan — drivers, vehicles, insurance details, providers, emergency contacts, tow destination and custom instructions — is saved in your browser's local storage so it works offline. We do not upload it.
Messages and reviews
If you contact us, we store your name, email and message so we can reply. If you leave a review, it is only shown publicly when you give permission and an administrator approves it, and we never publish your email, phone number, insurance details or vehicle information.
Payments
Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
Your choices
You can edit or clear your saved roadside information at any time from My Information, and you can ask us to close your account by using the contact form.
